Race on open water
“Port du Marin” is finally ready for the departure of her first big race “the transatlantic race”.
On the line, my feelings are divided between those hich mean that I am leaving land and the fear of the countdown which has started.
After all, it is a liberation. A whole year of preparation to be there. I am finally going to be able to leave fast and appreciate my work.

At first employed as judge on the organization of " The Transatlantic race Lagassé ", race reserved to oldnavy ships. I was lucky to be recruited among the crew to care care fromthe return of the first stage, from Agadir (Morocco), to Saint-Malo (Brittany).
Gibraltar, strong weather.
Recruited as team member and representative of the off shore rescuers to run the “SNSM Record” (National Society of Sea rescue record).
We led the race until the middle, when we were forced to stop because the boat broke down.
